"Diversity allows us to be able to view things or view concepts of operational, business or technical in the cybersecurity realm differently," she says. "Having the diversity and differences in perspective allows us to grow and increase our ability to provide value."

Valmonte, vice president of IT security and IT infrastructure at Aboitiz Group, has more than 30 years of experience in the U.S. military and the private sector. She has built cyber risk and IT security programs.
