An enterprise risk management strategy must include biometric authentication to address digital transformation challenges, says Pierre Noel, managing director of ISTARI, a consortium of security experts from the financial sector in the EMEA region.

In a video interview with Information Security Media Group, Noel discusses how biometric technologies are helping with proving identity and democratizing the mechanism for e-banking access. He offers insights on:

As managing director of ISTARI, Noel is a cybersecurity adviser to the financial services industry. He formerly was CSO for Microsoft in Asia. A Belgian citizen who has lived in Asia for the past 22 years, Noel has more than 27 years of international experience in information security and enterprise risk management. He has designed and built complete security and enterprise risk management environments for governments as well as organizations in the finance and transportation sectors and large conglomerates worldwide.
