“You need to figure out what could ruin you, what can or who can become rich off of you, and what regulations really drive your business, because then you get to the core of what you need to protect,” he says.
“You need to be able to integrate [security] tools into your processes, procedures and functions of your organization, [or] you end up just having a tool that's either shelfware or liveware that does nothing.”
In a video interview with Information Security Media Group, Longo discusses:
- Prioritizing the increasing number of risk alerts - and figuring out how best to respond to them;
- The use of deception technology and keeping abreast of the shifting regulatory landscape;
- What tools and processes he plans to adopt in 2021.
