Mobile Apps and Device Security at the Edge: Research Survey

Benchmarking 2023 Security Approach to Mobile Apps and Managed/Unmanaged Devices

Take the survey here!

One of the fastest-growing enterprise security threats is from compromised devices connected to an organization’s mobile apps. Even security professionals often have a false sense that app stores such as Google Play and Apple Store are ensuring that apps available for download are adequately protected. Unfortunately this is not always the case.

Compromised apps and consumer devices are an open door to critical app servers and other backend systems, and this research aims to shine a light on a potential hole in most enterprise security walls. It may also reveal gaps in CISO awareness.

Please take 5 minutes and anonymously participate in our Cybersecurity Practices At the Edge: Mobile Apps and Managed/Unmanaged Devices Survey. Goals of the survey include:

  • Identifying new cyberthreats originating from mobile apps and managed/unmanaged devices
  • Raising peer awareness/dispel misconceptions about this potential cybersecurity gap in organizations’ enterprise firewall
  • Addressing the responsibility hot potato: CISOs vs. SOC teams vs. App developers (internal/external)
  • Identifying popular tools utilized to protect and defend
